Ukrainian martech startup Ability AI has secured $1.1 million in pre-seed funding, led by SMRK, with contributions from SID Venture Partners and various angel investors, as reported to Vestbee.
Founded in 2023 by Oleksiy Osypenko and Eugene Vyborov, Ability AI offers an artificial marketing intelligence platform designed to streamline marketers’ workflows using a human-friendly AI assistant. Operating on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, the platform features specialized agents for different marketing tasks, including strategy formulation, content creation, landing page optimization, media buying, analytics, and overall marketing management.
Targeting small and medium-sized companies with annual turnovers of about $15–20 million, Ability AI has introduced a Strategy Agent for beta testing and plans to launch the full platform by the end of 2024.
The funding round, led by SMRK, a Ukrainian venture capital firm known for supporting startups through various growth stages, also saw participation from SID Venture Partners and tech entrepreneurs such as Anthony Venus, Catherine Dahl, Nick Bilogorskiy, and others. Forbes reports Ability AI’s current valuation at $10 million.
The new capital will be used to expand the team, enhance product development, and launch the system for public clients in the US and Europe.
