Marine robotics startup EyeROV has raised ₹10 Crore (USD 1.2 million) in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The funds will be used to expand EyeROV’s international market reach and develop advanced marine robotics products.
The company aims to triple its revenue by the end of the financial year, driven by increased sales efforts both in India and abroad. Over the past 24 months, EyeROV has seen consistent revenue growth, launched several new products, and expanded into new markets. It has become a leader in underwater ROV-based inspections in India’s hydro sector and is now focusing on developing R&D capabilities for infrastructure inspections.
EyeROV is also working with defense R&D labs and forces under the Innovations for Defence Excellence (IDEX) initiative to develop specialized solutions for maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) applications. In FY 2024, the company secured multiple contracts with prominent clients such as Tata, Adani, BPCL, DRDO, and the Indian Coast Guard, completing over 100 underwater inspections. EyeROV plans to further increase its project engagements in the oil & gas, maritime, and infrastructure sectors, as well as its contributions to the Indian defense sector.
