Belgium’s Uman Raises €1.9M to Boost AI-Powered Platform for B2B Sales Teams

Ghent-based Uman, an AI-driven platform for B2B sales teams, has raised €1.9 million in funding led by Holland Capital, with support from imec and Seeder Fund. Co-founded by Charles Boutens and Sven Degroote, Uman aims to revolutionize sales processes by providing AI-powered tools that streamline preparation and content creation for sales professionals.

The funds will be used to expand Uman’s international presence and continue product development. Already adopted by companies like Proximus and DPG Media, Uman enhances sales outcomes by generating personalized pitches, emails, and client cases, helping teams operate more efficiently in complex sales environments.

Words from those involved in the funding round:

“We want to go to the next level and market Uman to the right audience. Not only in Belgium by the way — we also already have several customers in the Netherlands and Germany. Our focus currently remains Europe, but we definitely have the ambition to conquer the US as well.”

Uman’s co-founder, Sven Degroote

“We are thrilled to support Uman during this exciting phase. Uman’s innovative approach to sales enablement is already making waves in the industry, and we are confident that our partnership will help them reach new heights.

We’re especially looking forward to further scaling the team and rolling this out internationally so we can enable sales teams across the globe to work more efficiently.”
