LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, the world’s fourth-richest person, has been actively investing in artificial intelligence through his family office, Aglaé Ventures. In 2024 alone, Aglaé participated in five AI-related funding rounds, totaling over $300 million, according to data from Fintrx.
Among these, the largest was a $220 million investment in H, a French startup focused on artificial general intelligence, co-founded by ex-Google DeepMind members. Other notable investments include a $25 million seed round for Lamini, a $12 million series A round for Proxima, a $27 million seed round for Borderless AI, and a $43 million round for Photoroom.
Aglaé has a history of tech investments, having previously backed companies like Netflix, Spotify, and Airbnb. Despite being heavily concentrated in LVMH, Arnault’s family office continues to diversify its portfolio with strategic investments in technology and AI.
