Hamburg-based Zive, an enterprise AI platform, announced it has raised $3.2M (€2.8M) in growth capital from venture firm Headline. The company plans to use the funding to drive growth and maintain its leadership in AI products and services.
Zive addresses the challenge of unstructured company knowledge, which it claims accounts for 80% of workplace information. Existing tools rely on basic keyword search, which is inefficient, with workers losing up to 1.8 hours daily searching for information.
Founded by Jan Marius Marquardt and Piers Wermbter, Zive provides a secure, hallucination-free AI platform that integrates company knowledge with Generative AI and semantic search technology. The platform includes modules like Zive Search, Zive AI Assistant, and Zive Hub, offering personalized search, secure AI assistance, and structured knowledge presentation.
Zive connects company departments and their tools, such as Slack and Zendesk, with third-party large language models (LLMs) like those from OpenAI, while ensuring GDPR and AI Act compliance with EU-hosted operations and no third-party access to customer data.
