All Hands AI Announces $5M to Advance Open-source AI Agents for Developers

All Hands AI has secured $5 million in seed funding, led by Menlo Ventures, to develop open-source AI agents aimed at helping developers automate routine tasks like writing tests and managing dependencies. The platform, designed to integrate with existing tools, will allow developers to focus on more creative aspects of coding.

Founded by Robert Brennan, Xingyao Wang, and Graham Neubig, the company leverages their extensive expertise in natural language processing and AI. The team plans to build out its tech stack before pursuing monetization through enterprise features. Other investors include Pillar VC, Betaworks, and Rebellion, with angel investors like Hugging Face’s Thom Wolf and PyTorch creator Soumith Chintala also participating.
