SafetyCulture Raises $165M to Drive Global Expansion & Accelerate AI Innovation for Frontline Teams

SafetyCulture has raised $AU165 million in a funding round led by Airtree Ventures, valuing the company at $AU2.5 billion. The investment will support AI innovation, expansion into larger enterprise markets, and provide rewards for long-term employees.

SafetyCulture’s Founder and CEO, Luke Anear, expressed excitement about the funding, highlighting its role in accelerating the company’s growth despite challenging market conditions. The funds will also continue to offer liquidity for early investors and employees.

Following the launch of its workplace operations platform in October 2023, SafetyCulture has experienced record customer growth, with its user base doubling in size over the past two years. The platform now serves 85,000 businesses globally, with nearly 2 million users, and the company aims to reach 100 million users by 2032.

SafetyCulture has also integrated AI-enhanced features like mobile-first training and instant inspection template generation, with plans to further harness AI to transform frontline work.

Airtree Ventures’ Partner, Kell Reilly, praised the company’s growth and vision, citing it as a standout success on the global stage. Existing investors, including Blackbird and Morpheus Ventures, along with Australian Super Funds, participated in the round.
