Reiwa Travel has announced that it has raised approximately 4.8 billion yen (US$33.7 million) in its latest funding round, bringing the total amount raised to 7 billion yen. The round was led by SMBC-GB Growth №1 Investment Limited Partnership, with participation from existing and new investors.
The funds will be used to deepen the company’s technology platform, NEWT, and expand its services beyond Japan. Reiwa Travel is focusing on AI-driven innovations, including dynamic pricing and a travel concierge, as part of its global growth strategy.
