SplxAI Announces €1.8M in Funding to Boost AI Chatbot Security & Combat Cyber Threats

SplxAI, a cybersecurity startup focused on protecting AI chatbots, has raised €1.8 million in pre-seed funding. The investment round was led by Inovo.vc, with contributions from South Central Ventures, Runtime Ventures, and angel investors David Politis (BetterCloud founder) and Elad Schulman (co-founder of Segasec, acquired by Mimecast in 2020).

SplxAI’s platform, Probe, is designed to identify and address vulnerabilities in AI systems, as demonstrated when the company successfully extracted sensitive data from a system in mere minutes. With this new funding, SplxAI aims to accelerate product development, grow its team, and strengthen its U.S. presence. Their ultimate goal is to create the first comprehensive security platform for generative AI (GenAI), helping enterprises defend against emerging threats in conversational AI technology.
