In a recent interview, Ron Williams, Founder and CEO of Kindo, discussed how his company is disrupting the way businesses adopt and manage artificial intelligence throughout their organizations.
Kindo, a centralized AI platform, enables companies to quickly deploy AI capabilities across their entire workforce in a secure and controlled manner. As Williams explained: “Kindo is a platform that lets a business quickly deploy AI across the entire company. Everybody’s got a laptop or a PC that lets them securely do it, track everything, manage cost and things like that.”
The platform’s versatility allows it to integrate a wide range of AI models, from commercial offerings to open-source solutions.
Williams explained that all commercial AIs are already integrated into the platform, along with any open-source options. They noted that Hugging Face, a major platform for open-source AIs, recently announced it had surpassed one million available AI models, any of which could be added to this platform. They emphasized that these models could then be easily and securely deployed across all employees.
Kindo’s target market lies in the mid-size enterprise sector, where Williams sees a pressing need for centralized AI management.
Kindo’s founder also explained that the platform’s “sweet spot” lies with midsize enterprises, typically those with 400 to 10,000 employees, including many multi-billion-dollar, publicly valued companies. He noted that while these organizations may have substantial tech teams, they are often occupied with core business operations, leaving little time to manage the rapid spread of new technologies. He pointed out a statistic indicating that 70–80% of employees in these companies are already using some AI tools, often without oversight from IT security.
Kindo’s mission is to provide enterprises with the tools to harness the power of AI while maintaining control and security.
“We let you quickly grab control of those tools and make sure people have the access they need but can manage it securely,” said Williams.
With a recent $20 million investment, Kindo is poised to further expand its reach and empower more businesses to seamlessly integrate AI into their operations. As AI continues to reshape industries, Kindo’s centralized platform offers a solution to the challenges of widespread adoption and governance.
