Qount, a Plano, TX-based company specializing in AI-driven practice management software for public accounting firms, has secured $17 million in funding to expand its AI capabilities and enhance automation in practice management and service delivery. The round was led by Savant Growth, with additional backing from Kennet Partners and a co-investment from the company’s new leadership team.
As part of the investment, Javier Rojas, Managing Partner of Savant Growth, Olivier Verhage, Principal at Savant Growth, and Peter Miele, Qount’s newly appointed CEO, will join the company’s Board of Directors. The funding aims to accelerate Qount’s AI integration, further optimizing workflows, client collaboration, and automation for accountants, tax professionals, auditors, and bookkeepers.
Qount’s cloud-based platform streamlines practice management through AI-powered solutions, incorporating CRM, onboarding, document management, workflow automation, e-signatures, payments, and billing. CEO Peter Miele emphasized that the investment would drive innovation, allowing accounting firms to enhance operational efficiency and leverage AI for seamless client service and workflow automation. The company’s strategic focus remains on enhancing AI-driven automation, enabling firms to reduce manual effort, increase accuracy, and improve overall productivity in the evolving accounting landscape.
