Bria, a New York and Tel Aviv-based AI startup specializing in ethically trained image generators, has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by Red Dot Capital. Additional investors include Maor Investments, Entrée Capital, GFT Ventures, Intel Capital, and IN Venture. This latest round brings the company’s total funding to approximately $65 million, positioning Bria for rapid expansion in the generative AI space.
The company, founded in 2023 by Yair Adato and Assa Eldar, differentiates itself by training AI models exclusively on licensed content, partnering with over 20 media providers, including Getty Images. CEO Yair Adato stated that the new funding will accelerate product development, enhance Bria’s platform, and expand support for additional media types such as music, video, and text.
Bria’s customer base has grown to 40 enterprise clients, driving a 400% increase in annual recurring revenue over the past year. To sustain its momentum, the company plans to double its team, hiring AI researchers, engineers, and global sales leaders. With a focus on compliance and ethical AI, Bria aims to build a comprehensive IP ecosystem where businesses can create commercial visuals with built-in copyright protection.
