Linq, a London-based startup focused on digital safety, has secured $1.1 million in pre-seed funding to launch an AI-powered platform that gives users control over intimate images and combats threats like revenge porn and sextortion.
Founded in 2024, Linq uses anti-piracy AI to allow users to grant or revoke access to sensitive content. Its app includes tools to block screenshots, detect unauthorized viewers via facial recognition, and blur content accordingly.
CEO Toby Bradshaw said the product addresses the growing need for safer ways to share intimate content online. Backers include Form Ventures, Calm/Storm, and Ascension. Linq plans to expand globally and raise a seed round later this year.
