Compri Gains €1.6M Funding to Reshape Procurement Processes with AI

Milan-based Compri has raised €1.6 million in a pre-seed round led by Italian Founders Fund and DFF Ventures to scale its AI-powered procurement automation platform across Europe. The investment also includes notable backers like Carl Tremblay, former Head of Growth at Plaid, and Giacinto Carullo, Chief Procurement Officer at Leonardo.

Founded by Edoardo Arbizzi and Edoardo Gava, Compri addresses the inefficiencies of outdated procurement tools by automating manual tasks through AI agents. These agents integrate internal systems and external data to handle spend analysis, supplier communications, and compliance.

The founders stated the funding will expand the commercial and tech teams and develop AI features that automate operational work. With clients already onboard, Compri expects to manage over €500 million in spend in the coming months.
