Nissan has announced that its next-generation ProPILOT autonomous driving technology will debut in fiscal year 2027, integrating Ground Truth Perception and Wayve’s AI Driver software to deliver advanced collision avoidance and safer self-driving capabilities.
Powered by Wayve’s embodied AI foundation model, the system is designed to interpret real-world environments with human-like intelligence and adapt rapidly to complex driving conditions. Nissan said the AI’s ability to continuously learn from vast datasets will give its vehicles a long-term edge in autonomy.
Wayve’s technology, trained on diverse urban and highway scenarios, enables flexible deployment across platforms — key to accelerating the adoption of reliable, AI-driven mobility worldwide.
