Mira Murati’s Thinking Machines Lab Reportedly Targeting $2B Seed Round at $10B Valuation

Thinking Machines Lab, the AI startup founded by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, is reportedly raising a $2 billion seed round that would value the company at a minimum of $10 billion, according to Business Insider. If completed, the raise would mark one of the largest seed rounds in tech history.

Though the company has yet to release a product or generate revenue, it has assembled a formidable team of AI talent. Recent high-profile additions include Bob McGrew, former OpenAI Chief Research Officer, and Alec Radford, co-author of the original GPT paper, both now serving as advisers.
