Drafted, a new AI-driven hiring platform focused on students and early-career professionals, has emerged from stealth with a mission to close the gap between young job seekers and companies hungry for talent. Co-founded by Andrew Kozlovski and Rodrigo Pecchio, Drafted leverages video resumes and machine learning to match candidates with employers in a faster, more human-centered way.
Designed as an alternative to platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed, Drafted already counts over 3,500 partner companies — including Google, Amazon, DoorDash, and numerous Y Combinator startups — and has formed partnerships with major universities like UCLA, Georgetown, and the University of Chicago.
Unlike traditional job platforms, Drafted invites candidates to record video responses to curated prompts, enabling recruiters to assess communication skills and personality alongside credentials. The AI then analyzes both verbal and visual signals to rank applicants based on culture fit and role relevance.
Kozlovski, who previously founded Brainz Power while at USC, said Drafted was born out of frustration with how long it takes students to land meaningful roles and how difficult it is for startups to find qualified entry-level talent.
Drafted is currently free for both students and employers, with plans to introduce an affordable subscription for hiring teams in the future.
