Anthropic has established a new go-to-market team dedicated to expanding the use of its AI models among Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers, signaling a deepening strategic alignment with the cloud giant. The initiative is designed to scale Anthropic’s reach across global markets by embedding its AI tools — most notably the Claude model family — within AWS’ infrastructure and partner ecosystem.
According to internal job postings, the team will be responsible for unlocking “multi-billion-dollar revenue opportunities” through the AWS partnership and will collaborate closely with senior leadership at both companies. CEO Dario Amodei has stated that Claude models are already used by tens of thousands of Bedrock customers.
Amazon has committed up to $8 billion in funding to Anthropic, and while it holds no governance rights, the company serves as Anthropic’s primary model training partner and exclusive infrastructure host for several AI capabilities.
