viAct, the Hong Kong-based AI company pioneering sustainability and safety technologies for heavy industries, has raised US$7.3 million in a funding round facilitated by Venturebeam. The round, which surpassed viAct’s original US$6 million target, was led by VentureWave Capital with participation from Singtel Innov8, Korea Investment Partners, and the PolyU Entrepreneurship Investment Fund.
Co-founder and CEO Gary Ng said the investment would fuel viAct’s expansion across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, bringing its scenario-based vision intelligence and AIoT solutions to new markets. Ng added that Venturebeam’s platform and impact scoring strengthened investor confidence, aligning viAct’s mission of transforming workplace safety through “AI for Good” with global sustainability goals.
