Lightrun Raises $70M Series B to Tackle AI-Driven Code Complexity with Real-Time Debugging

Israeli startup Lightrun has secured $70 million in Series B funding to expand its AI-powered observability and debugging platform for developers. The round was co-led by Accel and Insight Partners, with participation from Citi, Glilot Capital, GTM Capital, and Sorenson Capital.

CEO Ilan Peleg said the surge in AI-generated code has made real-time remediation essential, as increased output often leads to more bugs.

Lightrun’s Runtime Autonomous AI Debugger integrates directly into IDEs to simulate and fix faulty code before deployment, helping enterprises like Citi, Microsoft, and Salesforce prevent costly production failures.

Accel partner Andrei Brasoveanu said enterprise adoption accelerated after Lightrun launched its AI debugger, aligning with a market now facing a critical observability challenge.
