ARX Robotics, a Munich-based defence technology startup developing autonomous land systems, has secured €31 million in Series A funding led by HV Capital, with support from Omnes Capital, Project A, and the NATO Innovation Fund. The funding will be used to scale production, expand across Europe, and advance ARX Mithra OS — its AI operating system designed to retrofit legacy NATO military vehicles.
CEO Marc Wietfeld said the company is transitioning from pilot programs to industrial scale, supported by growing adoption across seven European armed forces.
Founded by Wietfeld, Stefan Roebel, and Maximilian Wied, ARX is pioneering modular unmanned ground vehicles and AI software to power the future of sovereign, AI-native European defence infrastructure.
