Supio, an AI startup transforming legal data workflows, has raised $60 million in new funding led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from Mayfield and Thomson Reuters Ventures. This brings the company’s total funding to $91 million.
Co-founded by CEO Jerry Zhou and Kyle Lam, Supio uses AI to automate the analysis of complex, unstructured legal data, particularly in personal injury law. Zhou stated the company aims to “revolutionize how legal teams interact with documents,” reducing the burden of manually reviewing records and reports.
With a fourfold increase in revenue and customer growth over the past year, Supio plans to expand its Seattle headquarters, open a second office, and double its 100-person team.
