Rork, an AI startup enabling anyone to build iOS apps using simple text prompts, has secured $2.8 million in seed funding after a viral launch catapulted the founders from debt to six-figure revenue in under a week. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz’s Speedrun program, with backing from Hustle Fund, Founders Inc., ChapterOne, and notable angels including Austen Allred and Siqi Chen.
Founded by Levan Kvirkvelia and Daniel Dhawan, Rork gained traction when a viral tweet by early investor Matt Shumer showcased its no-code app creation tool. Within hours, investor interest surged. Two months later, Rork had surpassed $550,000 in ARR, transforming near-bankruptcy into breakout growth.
