Revelo Sees Surge in Demand for Latin American Developers as AI Companies Prioritize Post-Training LLM Talent

As tech giants push return-to-office mandates, many are simultaneously expanding their reach to Latin America for AI-specialized engineering talent. Revelo, a full-stack talent platform connecting U.S. companies with vetted developers across Latin America, has reported a sharp increase in demand for engineers supporting post-training phases of large language models (LLMs).

CEO Lucas Mendes said that 22% of Revelo’s revenue in 2024 has come from LLM-related hires. With a network of over 400,000 developers, Revelo is supplying top-tier talent to major U.S. firms, including Oracle, Dell, and nearly all hyperscale AI providers. The company has made five strategic acquisitions in the past 30 months to meet rising nearshoring needs across AI and software development.
