Amazon has entered a strategic partnership with Humain, the AI venture launched by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, committing over $5 billion to establish an AI Zone in the kingdom. The initiative will feature dedicated AWS AI infrastructure, including servers, networks, and comprehensive training programs aimed at accelerating Saudi Arabia’s AI ecosystem.
Humain will leverage AWS technologies to build AI solutions and collaborate with Amazon to support local AI startups. This partnership follows similar alliances between Humain and tech leaders Nvidia and AMD, as Saudi Arabia intensifies efforts to localize AI capabilities through its Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Amazon confirmed that this AI Zone investment is separate from its previously announced $5.3 billion AWS region, set to launch in 2026.
