Moonvalley Secures Additional $10M for AI Video Platform, Reaches $124M in Total Funding

Moonvalley, a startup developing generative AI tools for video creation, has raised an additional $10 million, bringing its total funding to approximately $124 million, according to a new SEC filing. This follows its $43 million round last month and builds on its $70 million seed raise in November 2024.

Founded by Naeem Talukdar, alongside former DeepMind researchers Mateusz Malinowski and Mik Binkowski, Moonvalley is developing Marey, an AI video model capable of generating customizable HD clips up to 30 seconds. The model, built with Asteria Studios, emphasizes ethical training data and legal safeguards, aiming to differentiate in a crowded market of generative video platforms.
