AI infrastructure startup Chalk has announced a $50 million Series A funding round, valuing the company at $500 million. The round marks a significant step forward in Chalk’s mission to power real-time AI applications across industries.
Co-founder and CEO Marc Freed-Finnegan said the milestone reflects growing demand for infrastructure capable of handling instantaneous, intelligent decisions. He believes that what began as a focus on FinTech has evolved into a platform serving fraud detection, identity verification, healthcare, and eCommerce.
Chalk’s platform integrates seamlessly with developer tools and adapts to the rising complexity of large language models. The new funding will accelerate development of a general compute framework that enables developers to build high-performance, real-time AI systems at scale.
