Startup Arlequin AI has closed a €4.4 million seed round led by Vsquared Ventures with 10x Founders, Kima Ventures, Better Angle and angels David Meneret, Julien Codorniou and Julien Lesaicherre.
CEO Hugo Micheron said the cash “will accelerate rollout of resource-efficient comprehension models and boost Europe’s autonomy.” Founded in 2024 by Micheron and CTO Antoine Jardin, Arlequin uses unsupervised AI to map narratives, filter noise and deliver certified insights without large-language models. Its platform already supports ministries, media groups and BNP Paribas across three European states.
Funds will double R&D staff, speed on-premise integrations, enable global expansion and enhance key data security.
