AllSpice Receives $15M to Expand AI-Powered Collaboration Platform for Hardware Engineers

AllSpice, the collaboration platform purpose-built for electrical hardware engineering teams, has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Rethink Impact, with support from L’attitude Ventures, Gingerbread Capital, DNX Ventures, and existing backers. Co-founded by former engineers Valentina Ratner (Amazon) and Kyle Dumont (iRobot), AllSpice integrates seamlessly with existing design tools like ECAD and PLM systems, bridging gaps left by software-native platforms like GitHub or Slack.

The company also unveiled a new AI agent, now in closed beta, which helps engineers validate circuit designs and catch costly mistakes. Ratner emphasized that precision is critical: “Hardware errors are exponentially more expensive than software bugs. Our AI must meet that bar.” Enterprise customers include Blue Origin, Bose, and Tools for Humanity.
