Animaj, a next-generation kids’ media company, has closed an $85 million funding round led by HarbourView Equity Partners and Bpifrance Large Venture, with backing from JP Morgan, Bootstrap Europe, Left Lane Capital, XAnge, Daphni, and Marquee Ventures. The capital will fuel the European scale-up’s AI-driven, multi-platform expansion across YouTube, Roblox, TikTok, Spotify, and FAST channels.
Co-founder and CBO Grégory Dray said the company aims to “amplify underleveraged kids’ IP globally without compromising creative DNA.” Animaj will also fast-track its proprietary GenAI animation system, which reduces production time and cost while enhancing interactivity and personalisation. CEO Sixte de Vauplane called Animaj “a data-driven, digital-first, AI-native studio built for where kids actually are.”
