Grammarly has acquired premium email client Superhuman as part of its strategy to expand AI capabilities across core productivity tools. While financial terms were not disclosed, Superhuman previously raised over $114 million from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, and Tiger Global, with its last valuation at $825 million.
Founded by Rahul Vohra, Vivek Sodera, and Conrad Irwin, Superhuman brings advanced AI features for scheduling, categorization, and rapid replies — capabilities Grammarly now plans to embed into AI-powered agents for email. With email among Grammarly’s top use cases, the integration positions the company to deepen its presence in daily professional workflows.
Superhuman’s team, including CEO Vohra, will join Grammarly. The move follows Grammarly’s acquisition of Coda and a $1 billion non-dilutive investment from General Catalyst in May.
