San Francisco-based RevEng.ai has secured $4.1 million in seed funding to expand its AI-driven cybersecurity capabilities. The round was led by Sands Capital with participation from In-Q-Tel Capital, IQ Capital, and Episode 1.
Founded by James Patrick-Evans, RevEng.ai is developing foundational artificial intelligence designed to detect hidden threats and vulnerabilities across software supply chains. Its flagship model, BinNet, identifies code fragments embedded deep within enterprise systems, offering a proactive approach to cybersecurity.
The funding will support further development of BinNet, accelerate team growth, and expand the company’s U.S. presence as demand increases for automated, AI-native tools that safeguard critical digital infrastructure.
