Dutch AI Startup Perry Launches with €1.6M to Tackle Europe’s Skilled Labor Crisis

Amsterdam-based Perry has officially launched with €1.6 million in seed funding to address one of Europe’s most pressing challenges: the shortage of skilled technical workers. Backed by Berlin-based Revent and angel investors from Google and OpenAI, Perry is building an AI-powered platform that delivers adaptive, visual work instructions to frontline technicians.

Founded in March 2025 by Laurens Feenstra and Arie Kuiper, the startup aims to modernize industrial knowledge delivery with tools as intuitive as consumer apps. Its AI system adjusts instructions in real time and learns from technician feedback, reducing training time and improving consistency.

With customers like Dutch energy firm Van Vulpen, Perry is preparing to scale across Germany, France, and the UK as industries confront aging workforces and rising demand.
