Paradigm Launches Publicly with $5M Seed to Reinvent Spreadsheets Through AI Agents

Paradigm, founded by Anna Monaco, has emerged from beta with a $5 million seed round led by General Catalyst, bringing its total funding to $7 million. Built on the insight that critical business data often lives in spreadsheets, Paradigm reimagines the format by embedding more than 5,000 AI agents capable of automating data gathering, enrichment, and workflows.

The platform integrates with leading models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini, allowing users to switch between reasoning strength and cost efficiency. Early adopters include EY, Etched, and Cognition, with applications spanning consulting, finance, and sales.

Paradigm positions itself not just as an AI-powered spreadsheet, but as a new category of AI-driven workflow infrastructure designed to streamline data operations and accelerate productivity.
