Indian startup Rocket.new has secured $15 million in seed funding led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Accel and Together Fund, to expand its AI-driven app development platform. Founded by Vishal Virani, Rahul Shingala, and Deepak Dhanak in Surat, the company enables users to build full, production-ready applications from natural-language prompts.
Launched in June 2025, Rocket.new has already attracted more than 400,000 users across 180 countries, including over 10,000 paying subscribers, generating $4.5 million ARR. Customers from firms such as Meta, PayPal, and PwC use the platform to create mobile apps and websites. The fresh capital will accelerate proprietary model development, strengthen U.S. operations in Palo Alto, and double engineering and product teams in India as Rocket.new positions itself against rivals like Lovable, Cursor, and Bolt.
