Adobe Launches AI Foundry to Help Enterprises Build Custom Generative AI Models

Adobe has introduced Adobe AI Foundry, a new enterprise service that enables businesses to create custom generative AI models trained on their own branding and intellectual property. The initiative expands Adobe’s enterprise AI suite, allowing companies to generate text, images, videos, and 3D content tailored to their visual identity.

Built on the company’s Firefly family of AI models, which debuted in 2023 and are trained entirely on licensed data, the Foundry service fine-tunes these models for each client. The new offering uses usage-based pricing, diverging from Adobe’s traditional seat-based model.

Hannah Elsakr, Adobe’s Vice President of Generative AI New Business Ventures, said the launch reflects growing enterprise demand for more personalized, brand-specific AI tools. Since Firefly’s release, enterprises have created more than 25 billion assets, demonstrating the accelerating adoption of Adobe’s AI-powered creative technologies.

With AI Foundry, Adobe aims to strengthen its position as a premier creative technology partner, offering generative tools that enhance—rather than replace—human creativity in marketing and design.
