Velents.ai, a joint Egyptian–Saudi AI startup, has raised $1.5 million from prominent angel investors, including senior executives from Google and BCG, to accelerate the rollout of Agent.sa — the first fully autonomous Arabic-speaking AI employee for enterprises across the Middle East.
Founded by Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, Velents has evolved from an AI recruitment platform into an enterprise solution provider delivering AI-driven digital employees that operate seamlessly across departments such as customer service, sales, and operations. Built on a proprietary Arabic-language model, Agent.sa can communicate in Arabic and regional dialects, managing calls, WhatsApp conversations, data analysis, and task execution in real time.
Designed to integrate with over 20 enterprise systems, including CRM platforms and payment gateways, Agent.sa acts as a 24/7 digital colleague, enhancing productivity across industries from banking and telecom to healthcare and logistics. With operations in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, Velents ensures full local data compliance and is preparing for a larger funding round in early 2026 to expand its AI workforce solutions regionally.
