MilkStraw AI Closes $2M Seed Round to Expand AI-Driven Cloud Optimization Platform

UAE-headquartered artificial intelligence startup MilkStraw AI has raised $2 million in seed funding to scale its AI-powered cloud optimisation platform. The round was led by VentureSouq, with participation from Ibtikar Fund and M Capital. The company was founded in 2023 by Jawad Shreim and develops software that automates cloud infrastructure cost management for businesses.

MilkStraw AI said the new capital will be used to accelerate product development and operational scaling, including the rollout of features such as The Feed, Right Sizing, and an AI-driven conversational interface for managing cloud infrastructure. The company reported rapid adoption, with more than 100 startups using its platform across fintech, SaaS, and technology sectors.

The seed round follows a $600,000 pre-seed raise led by Flat6Labs in 2024 and supports MilkStraw AI’s plans to expand further across the MENA region and into new markets.
