Real estate AI company Mave raised $5 million in seed funding led by Staircase Ventures, with participation from existing investors, to scale its AI platform for brokers and agents.
The funding will support engineering and product expansion, board and advisor additions, and a partnership with myAbode to reach a nationwide network of over 10,000 realtors.
Mave is seeing strong traction with the majority of brokers using the platform weekly, thousands of agents onboarding, and plans to expand its team and footprint across North America.

PRESS RELEASE — Mave, a real estate AI company built for realtors and brokers, announced the close of $5 million in seed funding. The round includes notable participation from Staircase Ventures, along with returning investors Relay Ventures, N49P, and Alate Partners. Alongside the launch of Mave’s new AI platform, the funding will accelerate engineering and product expansion while building toward a future where brokerage owners can run their entire business and brand through Mave.

As part of the round, Staircase Ventures Founder and Managing Partner Janet Bannister will join the Mave board. Mave is also adding industry advisors to its growing team, including Natalka Falcolmer, Chief Real Estate Officer at Houseful; Rhoda Rahaii, Former VP of Strategy and Operations at Compass; Karen Yolevski, CEO of Carson Dunlop; Richard Silver, Senior Vice President at Sotheby’s International Realty Canada and Former President of TRREB; and Robbie Goldfarb, Former Product Leader for Meta AI.

In tandem, Mave is also excited to announce its partnership with myAbode and their agent and brokerage services platform to integrate its solution with their 10,000+ realtor network nationwide.

Mave has experienced unprecedented market demand, with over 70% of brokers using the platform every week. Mave is actively onboarding 8,500 realtors, and dozens of Ontario’s major brokerages, including Forest Hill Real Estate, PSR, Right at Home Realty, and many of RE/MAX’s major franchise groups, with another 10,000 agents and 100 brokerages on the waitlist. The company plans to grow its team to 25 people by the end of the year and expand across North America.
