ServiceNow Expands Enterprise AI Strategy With Multi-Year Anthropic Partnership

ServiceNow has signed a multi-year partnership with Anthropic, deepening its commitment to AI-native enterprise workflows just days after announcing a separate collaboration with OpenAI. Under the agreement, Anthropic’s Claude model family becomes the preferred AI engine across ServiceNow’s workflow products and the default model for its ServiceNow Build Agent, which enables customers to create agentic applications and automated processes.

The deal also extends Claude to ServiceNow’s internal operations, making the models available to its 29,000 employees, including engineers using Claude Code. Bill McDermott positioned the partnership as a step toward turning enterprise intelligence into action, while Amit Zavery emphasized that ServiceNow is deliberately pursuing a multi-model AI strategy to give customers flexibility, governance, and choice across its platform.
