Anthropic Raises $30B Series G to Scale Enterprise AI Models and Claude Platform

Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has closed a $30 billion Series G funding round, valuing the company at approximately $380 billion, more than doubling its previous Series F valuation of $183 billion. The round was led by GIC and Coatue, with participation from D. E. Shaw Ventures, Founders Fund, MGX, Accel, General Catalyst, Jane Street, and the Qatar Investment Authority, among others.

The funding will support continued development of Claude, Anthropic’s enterprise-focused AI model platform, as demand grows across startups, entrepreneurs, and large organizations. Krishna Rao, Anthropic’s Chief Financial Officer, indicated the investment reflects strong enterprise adoption of AI systems and will be used to expand enterprise-grade AI products and model capabilities.

The fundraising comes amid intensifying competition in the frontier AI market with companies including OpenAI.
