Hauler Hero Closes $16M Series A to Expand AI Agents for Waste Management Operations

New York–based waste management software company Hauler Hero has raised $16 million in a Series A funding round led by Frontier Growth, with participation from K5 Global and Somersault Ventures, bringing total venture funding to more than $27 million. The company, founded in 2020 by Mark Hoadley and Ben Sikma, develops software designed to modernize operations for waste management companies.

Hauler Hero’s platform integrates customer relationship management, billing, routing, and operational visibility tools. The company is now expanding into artificial intelligence with a suite of AI agents, including Hero Vision for identifying service issues and revenue opportunities, Hero Chat for customer support, and Hero Route for automated route optimization.

The new funding will support commercialization of these AI capabilities and continued expansion into municipal customers.
