Frore Systems Reaches $1.64B Valuation with New Funding to Advance AI Chip Cooling Technology

Semiconductor-focused startup Frore Systems has raised $143 million in a Series D round led by MVP Ventures, reaching a valuation of $1.64 billion. The eight-year-old company has now secured a total of $340 million as it expands its role in AI infrastructure.

Founded by former Qualcomm engineers, Frore develops advanced cooling systems for chips rather than manufacturing semiconductors directly. Its technology evolved from air-cooling solutions for compact electronics into liquid-cooling systems designed for high-performance AI workloads.

The company’s shift toward AI chip cooling followed engagement with Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, who influenced its move into liquid cooling for modern AI systems. Frore now supports platforms from Nvidia, Qualcomm, and AMD, positioning itself within the rapidly growing AI semiconductor ecosystem.
