Hark, a new AI lab founded by entrepreneur Brett Adcock, has outlined plans to develop a fully integrated AI system combining models, hardware, and interfaces into a unified personal intelligence platform. The company is focused on building multimodal systems capable of seeing, listening, and interacting in real time, while maintaining persistent memory of user activity and context.
Adcock is positioning the effort as a shift away from fragmented AI tools toward end-to-end systems designed to anticipate and automate everyday tasks. The company has recruited key talent including Abidur Chowdhury, a former Apple designer, to lead product design, signaling a focus on rethinking how users interact with AI.
Backed by $100 million in funding and supported by a growing team of engineers and designers, Hark is preparing for an initial model release later this year as it explores new approaches to embedding AI into daily life.
