Antaris has announced the first close of a $28 million Series A funding round led by WestWave Capital, with participation from Lockheed Martin Ventures and additional investors, as demand accelerates for AI-driven satellite mission technologies. The company develops the Antaris Intelligence platform, designed to streamline satellite design, simulation, manufacturing, and operations for ISR and communications missions.
The funding follows increased adoption of its AI-powered Full Mission Virtualization platform, including work supporting U.S. Department of War satellite initiatives and international expansion efforts such as a 16-satellite constellation project in Saudi Arabia and market exploration in Japan. CEO Tom Barton and CTO Karthik Govindhasamy have indicated the investment will advance AI-native mission design and autonomous operations through its TrueTwin simulation environment.
WestWave Capital, represented by Gaurav Manglik, has joined the board, as Antaris scales its AI platform and global partnerships across the space sector.
