Amazon has unveiled a major update to its Seller Assistant, introducing an always-on AI agent designed to manage key aspects of third-party seller operations. The agentic AI system can now move beyond monitoring to proactively handling tasks, from routine inventory checks to strategic business decisions, while keeping sellers in control.
The platform flags slow-moving products, recommends pricing adjustments, and ensures compliance with safety regulations across markets. It can also analyze demand patterns, generate shipment plans, and preempt costly storage fees.
Amazon is extending agentic AI into advertising as well, enabling merchants to create campaigns with conversational prompts. This launch reflects the company’s broader strategy to integrate intelligent agents into commerce, giving sellers tools to scale more efficiently and focus on growth.
