Elvis Evolution To Premiere in London: Experience AI-Enhanced, Unprecedented Performances Bringing ‘The King’ Up Close & Personal

The ability of artificial intelligence (AI) to resurrect legendary figures for modern audiences is taking a significant leap forward with Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ’n’ Roll. Later this year, UK fans will witness a groundbreaking event as a life-sized digital version of Elvis performs on stage, marking the first time this technology is used in the UK to bring back a music superstar of such magnitude.

A British company, Layered Reality, is spearheading this ambitious project. They plan to create the “world’s first Elvis immersive experience” using artificial intelligence and holographic projection technology. This initiative has received a boost from Presley’s estate, which has provided access to thousands of the singer’s personal photos and hours of home video footage. This treasure trove of materials is being transformed into “never seen before” performances, offering fans a unique opportunity to experience Elvis in a way that was previously unimaginable.

The show, dubbed “Elvis Evolution,” is designed to bring fans “up close and personal” with the icon, enveloping them in his journey to stardom and the cultural revolution he sparked in the 1950s and 1960s. Set to take place in a central London location yet to be revealed, the show also has plans to expand to international stages in Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Berlin.

“Elvis Evolution is a next-generation tribute to the musical legend that is Elvis Presley,” said Andrew McGuinness, founder and chief executive of Layered Reality. “Elvis maintains superstar status globally and people around the world no longer want to sit there and passively receive entertainment — they want to be a part of it. It’ll be a memory-making experience that will be a bucket-list item for Elvis fans and admirers around the world. People can step into the world of Elvis, walk in his shoes and celebrate his extraordinary musical legacy.”

Marc Rosen, president of entertainment at Authentic Brands Group, which owns Elvis Presley Enterprises, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Layered Reality to give fans a new, immersive way of experiencing Elvis Presley’s life and legacy.”

This project draws inspiration from “ABBA Voyage,” where life-sized avatars of the Swedish pop group perform as they did in 1979, housed in a specially constructed arena in East London. The announcement of the Elvis show is timed ahead of what would have been Presley’s 89th birthday on January 8. Elvis’s illustrious career saw him nominated for 14 Grammy awards, with three wins, selling over one billion records worldwide, and posthumously receiving the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
