nPloy, an AI-Driven Job Search Platform, Garners €2M in Additional Funding for Expansion in Romania

The AI job search sector is witnessing growth across Eastern Europe, with nPloy, an AI-powered job search platform, at the forefront of this expansion. Following an initial investment of EUR 2 million in August 2023, nPloy recently announced securing nearly EUR 2 million in follow-up funding. This new capital infusion is earmarked for boosting its presence in the Romanian and Bulgarian markets, demonstrating the platform’s commitment to regional growth.

With this fresh funding, nPloy is set to launch an aggressive marketing campaign aimed at tripling its candidate base in Romania within the next two years. The platform’s strategy focuses on becoming the go-to job search solution in the BPO and IT sectors, with an eye on entering a new market by 2025.

nPloy has already made significant strides in Romania, experiencing a surge in user engagement with a year-on-year increase of over 250%. The platform now serves more than 170,000 users and over 1,200 companies across the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. Leveraging an AI algorithm, nPloy facilitates direct connections between job seekers and employers, utilizing criteria such as salary expectations, skills, experience, and job preferences in a manner reminiscent of popular dating apps.

The company’s strategic expansion into Romania, fueled by its initial EUR 2 million investment round last year, underscores its ambition to broaden its footprint across Europe, establishing nPloy as a key player in the AI-driven job search market.

On the funding round, Konstantin Tsonev, co-founder of nPloy, said:

“We’ve got big ambitions, and this milestone is a huge step towards making them a reality. As we look ahead, we are committed to refining and optimising all aspects of the recruitment process. Our upcoming initiatives include the development of analytical functionalities that will provide real-time insights into labour market trends, enhancing transparency and accessibility for both companies and candidates.”
