Rotterdam’s Engaige Raises €1M to Boost AI-driven Customer Service Automation

Rotterdam-based Engaige, an AI-powered customer service automation platform, has raised €1 million in an oversubscribed seed round led by the Graduate Entrepreneur Fund, with support from Mamadoo Ventures, Keadyn, and angel investors.

The funding will fuel the expansion of Engaige’s team and accelerate its international growth. Engaige’s platform automates customer communication across various channels, including chat, WhatsApp, and email, helping businesses streamline support operations and reduce costs.

The company leverages Agentic AI and large language models to handle tasks such as resending orders and updating customers, integrating seamlessly with existing support systems.

Engaige’s technology allows businesses to choose which interactions to automate, offering AI-generated pre-written responses for agents, maintaining a human touch where needed. The platform is already helping clients increase satisfaction and reduce costs while providing 24/7 support.
