Prepared has raised $27 million in a Series B funding round, led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from First Round Capital, M13, and NewView Capital, bringing its total funding to nearly $60 million. The company is building an AI-driven platform designed to assist public safety professionals by streamlining emergency response operations.
Prepared’s technology integrates AI tools to enhance the capabilities of 911 operators and first responders. These tools enable real-time translation for non-English speakers, automate note-taking for telecommunicators, and facilitate the sharing of multimedia data like photos and videos with emergency services. By providing first responders with more context and information, the platform aims to improve response times and efficiency.
With the new funding, Prepared plans to expand its suite of AI tools to further support emergency services in over 1,000 cities, helping first responders navigate large-scale emergencies with data-driven insights.
